Hammered Dulcimer
The hammered dulcimer, a stringed
instruments played with “hammers” made
of wood, Lucite, leather or other materials,
has an ethereal, harp-like sound perfect for
receptions, quiet moments during wedding
ceremonies or receptions, or for
background music on any occasion.  Mary
Ellen has years of experience working in
hospice and with bereaved families, who
have been comforted by the sound of the
dulcimer during memorial services for their
loved ones.  C

experience the sound of the dulcimer for
yourself.
Accordion
Mary Ellen has played the
accordion nearly all her life -
dance, ethnic music and
standards from every era.  The
accordion is wonderful for
outdoor events and Oktoberfest
celebrations.  Mary Ellen has
performed at over sixty venues
in the Chicagoland area.

Popular Piano
Mary Ellen performs all the music
you love to hear – the Great
American Song Book come to life
as well as many other genres and
musical styles.  She is often
asked to play both the piano and
the accordion on the same
occasion - though not at the same
time!  She is also a trained and
accomplished singer.
